This is a float of Hiyoshicho, Upper district. The float built in Taisho 6 (1917) is a designated tangible cultural asset designated by Hachioji City. Features are delicate sculptures such as peacocks of male and female, peony and dragon, and from the meaning that it will not get wet even if it rains,it is called “a rain float “.
